Announcing 1.2-RC1

A new release candidate version of Openfiler is now available. New and noteworthy in this release are:

• Web-based volume group management
• Web-based partition management
• Bug fixes and misc stuff such as a FOP stylesheet for PDF documentation

Please note that this is a test release and should not be used on a production box. The manual will be updated shortly to provide documentation for these new features.

To install 1.2-RC1, please first download and install Openfiler 1.1.1 after reading the release notes and then update to the 1.2-RC1 openfiler RPM.

You can update this on a Openfiler 1.1.1 box by using the following command: rpm -Uvh /path/to/openfiler-1.2-RC1.i386.rpm
