HOWTO: Upgrading from 2.1 B1 to 2.1 B2

If you wish to upgrade from Openfiler 2.1 B1 to 2.1 B2, perform the following steps:

1. login to console as root
2. conary updateall --resolve
3. chkconfig --level 2345 heartbeat off
4. chkconfig --level 2345 drbd off
5. chkconfig --level 2345 bacula-dir off
6. chkconfig --level 2345 bacula-fd off
7. chkconfig --level 2345 bacula-sd off
8. chkconfig --level 2345 upsd off
9. chkconfig --level 2345 upsmon off

Please note that you WILL NOT be able to update a 2.1 B1 system to 2.1 Final (even if you update from 2.1 B1 to 2.1 B2 first). You will need to REINSTALL with 2.1 Final.

Updating from an original 2.1 B2 installation (i.e not an update from 2.1 B1 to 2.1 B2) to 2.1 Final is supported however.

It is therefore HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you install 2.1 B2 if you have not already done so; or wait for 2.1 Final on the 29th of September.
