The most recent manual is for Openfiler 1.1 which is current for the the 1.1 final release. We encourage everyone using Openfiler to install the latest version unless they are constrained by any of the limitations of the release.

Mininimum System Requirements

To ensure your experience with Openfiler is as smooth as possible, please ensure you meet the following minimum system requirements before attempting to perform an installation:

500MHz recommended minimum processor speed.
128MB of RAM or more
1.2GB of available hard disk space for OS and application installation tree
Single Fast Ethernet interface
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
